Zombie Innovation: How to Get New Life From Dead Ideas
"Loved this article. Ideas are all around us and really we should just take note of them. I have a box called 'inspiring ideas'. If I see something that I like, then I cut it out or print it off and put it into the box. Every now and again, I'll look at it when I'm looking for ideas. You're right about cycles so just because you didn't have the time or resources to do it previously, it could still be done at a later stage. Thanks for sharing here at bizsugar.com. "Miranda, I am a bit like yourself. I love writing and while I love interacting with people, sometimes I just love being by myself and working by myself. That's what made me read further about your review of this book. I haven't read it yet but will put it on the 'to-read' list. Thanks for sharing your insight. "Hi Herbert, You know what I liked the most about your article (although all of it was useful) - was that you talked about engaging with the article. Many people comment just for the links back or to say something that really means nothing. But you are spot on when you talk about relevance. Making sure your comment is relevant to the article. (Like my comment!). Thanks for sharing on bizsugar.com. Take care, Denise"Simple Tips for Creating a Budget You Can Stick To
"Sometimes the simplest of advice is the only way. I really liked your tips. I know that when I talk to friends who get frustrated about not saving all they want, I ask how much are they saving. Then they realise that it's not so bad after all. Sometimes we are hard on ourselves for no reason so I like your idea in point no. 4 where you say it's okay to make tweaks. "Thanks for sharing here at bizsugar.com. The key advantage for me of having a corporate credit card is separating business from personal expenses. It was great to pass the bills to the accountant and everything was simple. Great clear article on the advantages of having a business credit card. "Hi Brad, Loved the honesty of the article because it's all true! I've definitely found that as I live in Ireland, blog commenting is also cultural. You'll find very few people commenting on blogs in Ireland and Europe compared with the US. Thanks for sharing your article here on bizsugar.com. Keep them coming. "Hi Tom, Oh how I related to this article. I was feeling out of sorts a bit in my office one day. It was a bit messy and a lightbulb went off. I decided to hang up lots of the articles that I wrote and the promotional material on the walls on my office. My degrees and award certificates are there too. It is really motivating – so I completely agree that your environment has to be right. I love your environment…I’d never think to go to the library. "Hi Elish, It's almost as if you write about my beautiful home town of Drogheda. Unfortunately we have had a fair few shops close down on the high street and streets off it. Lots of reasons but no need to go into it now. However, a group of active and engaged citizens, which formed the backbone of the Local Heroes: A Town Fights Back initiative really blew new air into the closed shops. (The town and the Local Heroes campaign featured on Irish TV programme/documentary) One of the shops was turned into The Hub - which is at the centre of all the activity. Committee meetings, bulletin boards of what's going on all happen here. Pop up shops opened just before Christmas and Easter. Virtual shopfronts are on other windows; street art promoting the new logo of the town was also done. Fellow shop owners are using other shop windows to display their merchandise. The list goes on. It just goes to show that using vacant lots are limited by imagination and it is amazing what can be done when people work together to help other businesses out. Great article. Why build links to non-converting “fly-over” pages
"Hi David, I've heard of fly-over states but never fly over pages. Interesting take on the stats and what to do with the pages. It's always important to focus on all pages. I'll certainly look at my own statistics to identify my fly over pages. Take care, Denise "
