5 best Internet marketing services for small business, 2012
"Thanks for cutting down the list to five top services. How did you manage to cut the list down to five providers?! I've been hearing and reading about affiliates as a way of online promotion. You included it here in your list but no related company. What are your thoughts on affiliate companies, like Clickbank? Take care, Denise"How Getting Organized Makes Marketing Easier
"Stephanie, I recently taught my marketing students the elements of management as per a marketing management book. They included motivation, communication, control and planning. Organisation didn't come into it! Yet the academics should certainly consider it as an element of management. I know that when I'm stressed, I go into OCD mode. Everything has a place. It's so much better when things are organised. To say, I don't have time is just an excuse. Thanks for sharing this and giving me the gentle reminder to get organised this evening for tomorrow! Take care, Denise"3 Steps To Setup An Effective Google Analytics Dashboard
"Wow! I'm only just getting my head around the new look analytics. But I'm going to book mark this page and come back to it again. I agree, you really must decide what your metrics are...and once you have this information is super. Thanks for sharing such great information. I'll definitely have to give that private code a go. (when I get my head around it!) Kind Regards, Denise"Employee Retention and Corporate Volunteering: 5 Facts You Need to Know
"Hi there, I worked for a Fortune 500 years ago. I left in 2005 and they had a wonderful volunteering programme in DFW area, even back then. I have a relative who works in another Fortune 500 company and she used to volunteer in schools and herself and her colleagues just loved it. They really got behind the volunteering and the company itself. I've seen it in action and you're right - it does work. HR in all organisations would be advised to look at this as a method of engaging with employees. Good article - and thanks for sharing on bizsugar.com (That's where I found you!). Take care, Denise"Small Business is the Business of the World
"Hi Steve, I loved this article. It is there in black and white what help us entrepreneurs on a daily basis. As a marketing & copywriting professional who helps others, you are so right when you say that help is all around. And sometimes you just need a friendly ear from a fellow entrepreneur who shares your fears and excitements. Entrepreneurial networking groups are great for that support. "I love your points that you've made Allison. I have a blog and when I put effort and time into it, then it reaps its own rewards. Sometimes you can give away as much information as you know but the reader, with all the will in the world, just can't do it themselves. Reading your blog can give them the confidence to call you up and give you the job/project. Thanks for your insights. Take care, Denise "How to Make Sure Your Content Doesn’t Get Scraped
"Hi Amanda, What really useful tips you have. I've thought about copying or scraping but that's as much as I've done. Thought about it. I'm going to now re-look at doing something about it. Thanks for these tips. Something that all of us bloggers should be aware of. You've given me the kick start that I need. Take care, Denise "Perhaps the Most Important Step to Creating a Thriving and Profitable Business
"Hi there, Great post. I can't help thinking that you are covering the subject of marketing rather than just focusing on your customers. But then again, the two are so entwined, aren't they? Indeed customers are where marketing should start - understanding who your customers are, how they buy and how can you influence them to purchase with you rather than your competitors. Once you know this, the communication element becomes easier. Getting good at marketing, in it's entirety, is the single best way to grow a business. Thanks for your article. Take care Denise"

Great Way To Break The Ice, Just Don’t Add It To Your Cover Letter | Resume Mag
"Oh dear - those are some interesting stories. You'd wonder if they were for real! But I fear that they are. I completely agree, at the end of the day, you really must know your audience - who are you writing to? And above all, be professional. Thanks for sharing those stories. They made me chuckle on a rainy, wet Irish summer's day. Denise"
