"Jeff: You have written a food for thought piece. I am a citizen journalist and I have become an Apple fan boy (engaged in a Mac user association in Gothenburg, Sweden). I started out with Microsoft and I still defend this company, I then tried out different versions of Linux, until I got introduced to Apple with my first iPhone (I have had Nokia, Siemens, HTC, Blackberry phones) and then my brother (who has worked with Commodore, Amiga, Linux, BeOs, Microsoft, etc.) game his old (black colored) MacBook. I don't have much appreciation for the average mainstream media journalist, but I think the forthcoming content creation will work out in the future, with hybrids of bloggers and traditional journalists.
