As an individualist and American in spirit - born in Sweden - I have the following statement to make on International Women's Day: same pay for same work, but it is up to employer to decide. And it should not be intervened by an union. The union leader mentioned in the post is earning SEK 1,083,418 / year. How much do you earn as a small business owner?"
Tibor: You learn from the mistakes! ;) I did a similar thing and misspelled a potential customer's name. But in the retrospect, I turned out that she had "given" me a new name and I had sent out a default standardized inquiry to several people and mixed up us. I asked her if the meant person "X" because the field I am working in (social media), is well connected and we know each other! ;) I have now been thinking on how I should formulate my offer due to the fact that one of my "competitors" is a friend and I don't want to have this negotiation process. I am an experienced purchaser, so I know how it is to be at the other side of the table! ;)"
