We’re trained to believe that longer MUST be better. However, one of the best writing tips I ever received was to keep it short.

It all depends on what you're writing I think, there are some posts that needs to be longer and if you cut it short, your readers will not get the whole picture while there are also ones that should be short and, if you keep on writing just to make long then, your readers will become more confused and lost. Thanks for sharing this with the bizsugar community.
