Here at the college I work at we’ve been struggling with how to incorporate Twitter into our social media strategy. We do have a Twitter handle but the only thing we do with it now is automatically feed our Facebook posts into our Twitter account. Since we only have 305 Twitter followers, as opposed to 29,000+ Facebook fans, you can see why we’ve been focusing on Facebook rather than Twitter.

But an idea occured to me the other day…what if we set up a new handle where students could ask us questions? We hear from frustrated students all the time that they have problems getting anyone to answer their phone calls when they need help so why not create this new avenue on Twitter?
