Trackbacks allow you to acknowledge a blog that you are read and at the same time be able to add commentary and conversation to the blog through your own. Sometimes, if you are engaging in conversation through blog comments on others blogs, you may want to create some added content to your own site as part of the conversation. Using trackbacks, you can do both!
