Social media can be a double edged sword. There are countless examples of Social Media being a great tool to engage and build relationships as a company and a brand and even on a personal level. It can also be a dangerous tool if not used correctly as with Anthony Weiner and just now Miami Heat Owner Micky Arison. Arison reacted to a fan that tweeted “How’s it feel to be a part of ruining the best game in the world? NBA owners/players don’t give a damn about fans & guess what? Fans provide all the money you’re fighting over & you greedy [expletive] pigs.” In response Mickey tweeted “barking at the wrong owner,” which he was fined by the NBA $500,000.
