Friday I wrote a post about how frustrating it can be to find time for blogging (or social media in general) when other time pressures seem overwhelming. I'm thrilled at the great responses I got, and I'd like to share a few of my favorite tips that I received from readers:

I have struggled now and then during my eight years of blogging. I have been taking a blog break around my blogiversary on May 7 and my birthday on May 25 and sometime during the summer period. Several guest bloggers have helped me during these times.
Yoni: Talking about blogiversary, how was your first blog birthday on June 3?

I actually gave you the wrong date: June 3rd was in fact the 1st anniversary of my company. I, rather unfortunately, didn't blog for the first 2 months. My blogiversary would be August 12th.
All the best!

As a follow-up thought: blogging needs to be enjoyable! It is something whose ideas are born from inspiration, not from being forced. As a professional writer, and literary writer, I shun those who say sit at the computer until ideas come. It's no cure for writers block. When ideas come, they come.
Also I would advise not to turn something such as blogging, which should be optional, into an obligation. That's when it becomes frustrating!
