Great analogy. Treating customers like dates is exactly what you should do to build that trust and likability factor with your customers that's important for creating strong relationships. This will lead to loyal customers and raving fans that will buy your products/services over and over again and refer business to you. This is also a great approach to take when you're seeking to start a relationship with with an influential person within your niche.
