Shawn I agree! I think people often want quick success rather than putting in the time. Especially for the small business - under 10 employees- it is important to practice good growth. I hear, too many times, that a business has a PR person get them "tons" of exposure and they failed at meeting the demand. That is a sad thing to happen to someones dream.

More than this, I would actually suggest most company's cannot sustain this kind of exposure since they have not had time to build a following for their product over time. I maintain that most businesses must win over their customers and do so slowly with each set of friends telling another set of friends. It seems to me this kind of rapid exposure, before a brand is ready, can quickly become overexposure and make it more difficult to build a customer base organically.
