I still find it amazing that companies, even big ones, can allow such a thing to snowball. Catastrophe is right. I still think one of the big differences between large and small business is responsiveness to this kind of thing. We all know if something like this happened with one of our customers we would freak out and do whatever was necessary to set things right. (At least if we had any intention of remaining in business.) What happens to companies as they grow that makes them actually believe such nonsense will go unchallenged?
