It has always seemed super important to me for companies to have a crystal clear idea of the people they want to work with. This does not mean simply identifying the kinds of techniques they want the person to know about or looking for someone with a superstar track record. It means finding someone who shares their commitment to similar values and is willing and able to learn what is necessary to accomplish the needed tasks.
