Are we so caught up in social media and online marketing strategies that we've forgotten to invest in traditional marketing? Or that our time actually has a value? Traditional marketing still works, especially in conjunction with online efforts.

I can see your point, however a lot of bootstrappers just don't have the funds to invest in some of these traditional methods of advertising. I do agree there are some low or no cost methods they could take advantage of, though. We are all pretty caught up in the world of online these days, but I think the key is to spend some time on strategy, focus those online efforts, and do only the low/no cost rather than delay starting up a business. Food for thought.
