Wow...actually, this is the first such article I've seen posted to BizSugar, and really it's something no one seems to consider much. I mean, I haven't really heard it discussed in the segment of the small business community of which I am part...however I think it's a tremendously important subject, especially now as the world, particularly American society, is beginning to change its views on GLBT people, gay marriage, etc.

It may be uncomfortable for some straight people to deal with transgendered or androgynous people or openly gay or lesbian people in the workplace, but their comfort level hardly trumps the civil rights of members of the GLBT community.
