So you advice is great for small business owners - if they experience a bad day, fair enough. If they experience a bad week, then it's time to find out why..and see what, if anything, they can do about it.

One method for easing the jitters is to either have a secondary source of income to fall back on or set up a business "emergency fund." Doing so will help take off the pressure and allow you to see what is happening more objectively.
