The internet of things has taken the world by storm! Computers, phones, printers, vehicles, coffee machines and other appliances will all be interconnected and smarter than ever. Machines will soon know all of our preferences on a personal level. Gartner suggests that by 2020, 25 billion ‘things’ will be connected to each other. Another projection by IDC sees 1 trillion networked devices hooked up worldwide by 2025.
