They say, a problem well stated is a problem half solved. What about typical problems with the Balanced Scorecard? I have compiled a list "BSC pitfalls" to pass to our clients, it includes:
1. Missing the difference between "KPI" and "Strategy" (Balanced) scorecard.
2. Silo thinking + used exclusively by top-managers.
3. Excellent description of the "bad" strategy.
4. Problems with buy-in from top management and employees
