This is true, but sometimes there is 1 co-worker that bothers many or all the others. If they leave, everyone sighs in relief & things indeed run more smoothly.

I do agree with you, there will always be employees that are unwilling to change for the benefit of the group. However, since conflict is mutually created keep in mind that even after one problem is solved, another is inevitable. I firmly believe the first step should be acceptance.
