Who cares what mobile phone you use? The truth is, even if no one ever says anything to your face, it’s likely someone is noticing your phone and making a judgment—especially other women. In a recent uSell.com survey, 60 percent of females (compared to 50 percent of males) said they judge a person during a business meeting based on their phone model and condition. And it doesn’t end there: 55 percent of respondents say that if a business meeting participant pulls out a damaged or outdated cell phone, this negatively affects their impression of him or her. More than 80 percent of people say they judge a person to be “frugal,” “not tech savvy” or “old” if they carry an older model cell phone.
