Point number three is an important one. It probably should be added that, even when you have enough money, hiring the right people may be trickier than you think. Bringing the right people into your organization is about more than being able to pay huge salaries. It’s about judgment, and it’s about finding people with the drive, determination, and passion to help you meet your business goals. Risk tolerance, drive and thick skin are absolutely necessary to be successful at business. I would also add that you also need to be disciplined. As a business owner you will need to take care of hundreds of tasks. If you are not disciplined you may get overwhelmed and lose track of important ones. It is also important to be honest to yourself. Look in the mirror and ask do you have what it takes to succeed?
