A former Oracle executive, Phil Murphy, 32 , who opened 11 public storage facilities, came up with an idea for Gen Y and urban dwellers -- StorageByTheBox.com.
His company works with Federal Express, which will drop off boxes for people to store things they normally would put in public storage -- and for a fraction of the price. FedEx will pick up the boxes filled with storage items and ship them to his storage facilities. When you need them back, log into their secure website and let them know which you want returned and they will be shipped back to you
