Chris, that’s a really tight article covering the debate over social media in the workplace. From experience of managing staff at some of the world’s largest and smallest businesses the key factor is the same:



1. give people interesting, challenging and rewarding work to do

2. give them the resources they need to do their job well

3. confirm strong targets

4. get out of their way and support them to get on with doing their job.
