Klout announced in an official blog post that Instagram activity is now impacting your Klout Score, and their integration with Bing is getting tighter.

My Klout score climbed up from 63 to 64, 6 days ago. I am an avid user of Instagram, so I may have to do something with that. It is interesting to see how Bing is integrating more stuff in the search engine. Would you say that Klout could become of an alternative to Google+'s +1 in influencing the search results in the long run? The good stuff will raise to the top?

So far, Google has given no indication that they're at all interested in using Klout. And why should they? By promoting their own social signals, they perpetuate and ensure the use of their own products.

Bing, on the other hand, is definitely up to something.
