I think anybody who is suffering from writer's block is simply not exposing him or herself to enough stimuli.
Anytime I see a baby cry, a dog rolling in the grass, the twinkle in my wife's eye, clouds, rain, someone helping an old lady across the street...
...a great tv show, a documentary, an old black and white Gable movie, Charles Bronson kicking a bad guy's ass...
...reread Catcher in the Rye for the 30th time, read a great new novel, a great insightful news article...
...listen to Neil Young, Louis Armstrong or Curtis Mayfield...
...hear about a corrupt CEO, a disabled person who is thriving at work, a person who has beaten cancer...
POOOOF!!!
