This also reminds me of another story. There was one particular clothing brand that used "shock" advertising once in the past, positioning themselves as racists. It was a popular brand at the time. As far as I know they only did one such advertising campaign, but I still refuse to buy it even if it is on sale... and also continue to tell friends who wear it about what this brand once stood up for. :)
