Hi Lori,

Doing your own publicity is a great idea and easier than ever these days. I once saw an interview with Sir Richard Branson in which he suggested pretty much the same thing. If you don't have a publicity person working for you (especially in the beginning when launching your company), it's very important to do what you can personally to attract the attention your business deserves.
