Ti: Do you know the formula for comments on blogs related to the decrease of the Alexa ranking? How much weight does a comment on a blog has for the Alexa ranking? Will every commented be counted for?

Hi Lyceum,

I'm not sure of an "exact formula" for blog commenting that decreases your Alexa ranking. I do that that blog commenting is great for getting more backlinks to your site. The more links you get to your site may have to do with a decrease in Alexa ranking, but I can't say for sure.

What I can tell you though is that commenting is terrific for driving traffic, as I mentioned in this post. I focus more on commenting to build relationships with other bloggers and to drive traffic more so than the backlinks - they're just a by product that happens to work in your favor.

I'm already using some of these method you mentioned on your post but commenting to other blog sites works real quick when it comes to getting quality links-back which increases google PR in return.

That's great that you're already implementing some of these methods. They've certainly proven to be a great help to boost my traffic and I've noticed a significant increase in my backlinks and a decrease in my alexa ranking, which is always a plus.
