Hi Sarah,

I am lucky that if I publish with typos, old eagle eye Paul Hassing sends me a DM so I can quickly fix it. They do look bad and I mostly have spelling mistakes when I rush and don't take time to do a final check.

Hi Susan,

One of the reason to befriend other bloggers is because they all become virtual editors for us. I know you've caught a few whoppers on my posts. I'm eternally grateful.

My favorite was a line of knock-off high-end Chinese bycicles I saw at a flea market. On the frame, it said "Disk Break".

Oh no! Having lived in different parts of the world, I can attest to the often unintentional humor injected into translation.

Thanks for sharing.

Sarah,

I do the same thing. I post my article, go back and check and find at least three errors i didn't notice the first time! It's why they say you should wait an hor before submitting...I'm too impulsive for tthat!

Hi Yoni,

After I wrote this post, I found 3 more spelling errors in marketing material. I was say, "Unbelievable", if it wasn't so common. Spelling *is* a big deal especially if it sends the unintentional message that you're lazy, stupid or just don't care.

Thanks for stopping by.

Very True! I've noticed my problems writing usually occur when I change a sentence - the syntax might come out wrong if I don't check very carefully. What was correct in plural in the original idea is now wrong in the revised version, but it's something I don't always catch when proofreading. Great Article!

Thank you. I usually read my content aloud to avoid to find grammatical errors. Just lately I've discovered if I read a blog post aloud directly after I've published it, I can almost always find something that was corrupted during revisions.

Cheers,

Sarah
