When I still lived in the States (grew up in Baltimore) our family would go to Florida every year. We always stayed at the same great hotel. One year my parents saw an ad for another hotel called "Treasure Island". It looked great! They decided that we would have a change that year. Needless to say when we got there the hotel looked nothing like the ad. The pool was green and mucky and the hotel itself sucked. The ad pictures had probably beeen taken years earlier. We immediately checked out and fortunately there was an opening at our old hotel. You are right, its all about expectations!

Great post! Your are indeed right. A video, print ad, or any other form of advertising can be spot-on, but if the product itself is not of high enough quality to back up the ad...all is for naught! Breaking peoples' expectations somehow seems worse than giving them no expectations at all.
Anyhow, I hope you have a wonderful, fulfilling, healthy day! I will be spending the next hour or so working in our bomb shelter (our extra bedroom) as we have a national security drill this morning. Air raid sirens will begin wailing in a few minutes. Oh, the fun of living in the Middle East never ends :( Regards,
Yoni
