Incorporating any new tool or software into your team's marketing machinery must mean that it automates a process, task or action that you know you want done, but simply couldn't execute on your own.

In this post, there are some examples of how various tools can serve as extensions of your keen instincts as a marketer.

I love testing out tools and figuring out what can be improved on a web page based on the data that the tool provides. I see that HotJar has a free version so I'll be testing that one out on a client site. I already knew about SEMrush and GetResponse which are fabulous tools also. I've used GetResponse for a client before and really liked their setup; especially their integrated functionalities like webinars and all. SEMrush is awesome for competitor analysis amongst other things.

Erik,

This is a nice share indeed :) I love GetResponse and recently, their automation email feature seems to be really awesome (for the price you pay).

Thanks!

Have you set up any automation workflows yet? I did a pretty comprehensive post with a video on how they work in http://growmap.com/getresponse-new-online-marketing-tool/
