I heard it again just the other day. I was manning a table at an event and having a great time representing Common Sense Development to business owners around Boise, ID. During the course of the event, I had multiple people see that we do Website design and Graphic Design and begin to tell me the horror story of their current situation. They hired a website designer, paid them up front, and months later still have no website or only a fraction of the project is complete. One poor gal told me how she has worked with three different graphic designers to try and get a business card printed; she still does not have a new business card.
It seems like as a whole, the industry that I love and take great pride in is not represented very well.
