Have you ever asked a question of someone leaving a comment on your blog and wonder why they never responded? Have you ever just left a comment but not bother about any other comments others have left after you? If you answered yes to either of these then you could be missing out on opportunities.

It doesn't sound focused, but more and more people are writing these types of articles about setting goals of commenting on 50, 75, 100 blogs a day. I'm waiting to hear of some kind of hi-tech app for commenting automatically. Good luck with the website project!

I have to ask what is the point. You get traffic, but is it targeted and are the visitors potential customers. I have never seen anyone report on true results that count. I am sure the app is on the way.

I am guilty of leaving comments on the blogs of others and not checking for follow-up comments. You are right that this practice can easily end in missed opportunities. I will be more cognizant. I imagine the people that write articles on how they leave 100 comments a day...how the hell do they keep up????
Great post as always!

It is something all of us have done at times. one suggestion from a reader was to use Google reader and star posts that you want to go back to to see comments. This means you don't have to have a lot of emails flooding your inbox.
I have to ask what is the purpose of leaving 100 comments a day? Doesn't sound very focused at all.
By the way I have been remiss in not commenting as much on BizSugar lately as I have been busy with a launch of a new section of my website. Should be back to normal next week.
