Competition is a requirement for a free market. You will always have the chance to start up a company and compete with the existing players on the market. It is time to understand and defend the idea of capitalism. I recommend you to read the book, Free Market Revolution: How Ayn Rand's Ideas Can End Big Government by Yaron Brook and Don Watkins, for intellectual ammo.

All of the reasons you mentioned lead to making you a better business as a result of competition. You can see the impact of competition on the outcome by comparing business success in the free market country such as USA against those in Russia. It's the competition as a result of free market that made the businesses in USA world-class.
