It depends on what your business does. For example, a retail bakery might give away chocolate samples or run a special batch of products that they don't normally sell and give away samples to measure interest.

I'm not a fan of giving random stuff away (like a pen or some other small object). People rarely keep those and the quality is usually terrible.

If you can share more about the business, I'll try to come up with some other ideas...
