The criminal element in the US has been using these excuses for the last 20-25 years - it's never THEIR fault, it's always something that was done TO them that started it all, that "should" be the blame.

I fear we all have been using these excuses in every area of our life. A lot of businesses folded in Ireland because of the perception that the Recession shut them down. Should an entrepreneur give up that easily?
