True! However, we have to choose between playing the offensive or defensive game. By offensive, we can minimize failure by focusing on growth. By defensive, we bootstrap and avoid risky decisions. The choice is the founders' :)

I think it's through a simple financial projection :) If my business keeps losing money at a certain rate every month, it's easy to predict when my capital will eventually runs dry - if we failed to turn things around, that is :)
