This is a very entertaining article. I'm not sure of everything on your list, but definitely if your potential boss is talking bad about people in front of you, it is a bad sign. I have stopped interviews and corrected the person giving the interview before because the technique was so bad. I thought it might be a trick to see if I would notice and attempt to correct the problem for the organization during the interview. (It wasn't a trick, they just did a poor job during the interview :) )

I am glad you found the article entertaining. The worst thing though is that I am talking from personal experience, and yes, I have been in a situation like yours and yes, it wasn't a trick in my case as well :) I wrote it, because there is so much information about how candidates have to prepare, and so little about how employers have got to be prepared for assessment as well!
