Understanding Mobile Shoppers: 3 Tips to Reach Your Mobile Audience
"Hi Chris, There seems to be such a tie between mobile marketing and brick and mortar shopping. With the rise of eCommerce, it seemed for a while like brick and mortar stores might be on the way out. Now, not so much. Do you think the rise of mobile marketing will actually provide a new boom for the brick and mortar business?"So you want to launch a website? Basic tips for the barely web-literate.
"So interesting points here, Art, and here's the big question. I notice one of your points was to choose a content management system. I realize this has been pretty much the pattern in recent years and I'm sure we may get a debate started with others in the community, but I notice you didn't say, hire a Web designer. Is having a custom Website designed for your business not a recommended option anymore these days? Is there anyone who should be doing this, or is customizing an existing content management system always the best option?"Buying A Franchise? This Is The Last Thing You Need To Worry About

Are you getting paid enough on client projects?
"David, As a side point here, I think you're absolutely right about charging for the project rather than for your time being a viable option -- though I know some people will adamantly disagree with this. One caveat I would add, though. I think, if you charge by the project, it is very important to make sure that the project parameters are very clearly defined. Otherwise, you could very easily end up in an open ended relationship with a client in which you end up spending much more of your time and resources than you ever intended -- great for the client but bad for you.
