Research is the key to the successful launch of a business, product or service. It is also critical for customer satisfaction and forging strategic partnerships that are crucial for the survival of a business venture.
Customer profiling, definition of needs, identification of trends and problems all call for research and most businesses do carry out surveys and interview people for this purpose.
Most times though, we find that research has failed to yield the desired results. Very often we fail to find out much about any of what we set out to do in the first place. Why? The main reason why people have not given us answers that we were seeking is because we did not ask the right questions.
