Ivan: The traditional ERP systems are only "zeroes" and "ones" (numbers, data in, data out), without any social connections. The social element could be comments about the individual customers, likes, dislikes, interests, activities on social media channels, the mood level of the users of the ERP system, etc.

Ivan: Some years ago, I talked about social media at an ERP conference, arranged by the Movex (Lawson) user group. Plenty of interesting discussions about the social element of an enterprise resource planning system.
