Adam,

I myself am looking for alternatives after a very frustrating situation. I tried ordering a pair of boots from the States that Yoni really wanted.

On the payment system on one site, our zip code, despite the fact that I entered our Israeli address, told us that we are in Afganistan. Another payment site will not take a payment from Israel.

One of the boot's distributors has just about ever country on their site except for Israel. A call to their 800 number, and I found out that they just won't deliver to Israel- no reason given. Marshall Islands, Bahrain, Iran, saudi Arabia, Kazakstan and scores of other countries...no problem. Israel? Problem.

Then there is delivery. Several overseas delivery companies, biggies, won't deliver to the Har Homa neighborhood of Jerusalem. They consider it occupied territory.

It's frustrating as hell!

Israel is *always* a "problem " :)

It may be hard for companies located outside of Israel to understand the actual threats or dangers that exist in the country. They are after all relying on the media...

Do you know anyone in America who could receive the shipment, then forward it to you? It may take longer, but at least it will get there.

That is, unless it gets sent to the Netherlands!

Adam
