While I agree that just-do-it is a good attitude for entrepreneurs to have, you need plans to guide you in growing your business, such as a marketing plan.

Agree with you. You can only get so far with doing things as they come along. Without having a good strategic and marketing plan you will just stumble upon opportunities once in while. Having a plan in place allows you to look for them proactively and act on them immediately as they come.
