Clearly, the first step to becoming a real entrepreneur instead of an aspiring entrepreneur is to come up with a great business idea, but that phrase can be a little deceptive. There is a difference between a great idea and a great idea for a business.

It's so great that you pointed out the difference b/w the two. Some ppl are great inventors and others are skilled at turning that invention into a great business.

What if it is not a "problem" present, and you still have a great idea, and create a business around it?

I can't think of any businesses that don't solve a problem, off the top of my head. There are some that solve a problem the customer didn't realize s/he had until the solution was presented, but there is still a problem being solved. Do you have an example of a business that's not built around solving a problem?
