The class was a great opportunity to receive real world experience about what it is like to write a business plan and present it to investors who are looking to invest in the next great idea. It also showed us the risk involved with entrepreneurship, because if we didn’t do an excellent job (they had extremely high standards), we would receive an F and not be able to graduate. However, if we received an A, this meant we would win money for launching our company and can turn our dream into a reality. After spending a whole semester stressing over the business plan, it was important to do a great job presenting it! Our professor, Mark Long, has a wealth of experience in launching new businesses and presented us with great advice and tips throughout the semester.
