If you have been studying productivity for any period of time, you have learned that multitasking is not a way to go if you want to get things done.

Good ideas, Timo.

The one thing I'd say is that while most people listen to music while doing chores, working out, etc, this is called "passive" listening. Sometimes during passive listening, especially when exercising or dancing, one can become quite involved in the music, but it can't compare to "active" listening - Just Listening. Many, Many people are so out of touch with active listening that they don't remember what it was like, what they're missing - they don't "get it".

That is true.

Even though in some cases multitasking causes "less damage", there is always a cost involved.
