Its such an easy trap to fall into, getting so caught up in the content delivery and failing to execute that final call to action. I myself am guilty as charged. Thanks for the timely reminder Yoni, great post as always

Glad you liked the article and found it useful. Actually I went the first three months of blogging without the sales pitch...I was guilty. I noticed that plenty of people were reading my posts, just not contacting me. Then I tried just the small final pitch and "Voila!" it worked.

Yoni, you are very correct. In our shoppe we wait hand on foot on every customer who seems like they are at all interested. We go to other establishments though and the sales person can't be bothered to even approach us. It is all about a sales pitch, something that I noticed is very prominent in your blog.

Thanks for reading and commenting. You are right. Almost everybody has been in a place of business where the clerk or owner makes no attempt to close a deal.

I truly believe that in blogging, a covertly placed and tasteful sales-pitch can be the clincher. That's why it is so perplexing to me that so many bloggers don't use this tool.
