I think you can - I also consider myself as a lone wolf in practice :) However, I do have mentors (not formally, though...):
I follow Gary Vaynerchuk, because he's a practitioner when it comes to social media and entrepreneurship.
I also follow Tim Ferris, because he can travel the world and get his business side well taken care of :)
