Security of our sites is very vital issue in online business.
Thanks for sharing these basic security tips for your readers.
Plugins sometimes are the main culprit in our security lapse.
As you mentioned we must be aware of the plugins updations.
An outdated plugin can create a havoc in our pages, sometimes it may even go down. It happened to me some time back after embedding a plugin. Later I removed all te outdated plugin after the restoration of my site.
These are really very useful tips and indeed a wonderful reminder and alert.
