I'd have to say that my experience of affiliate marketing would match the author's. That is that the vast bulk of it is poorly done and tends towards spam and get rich quick territory.

He's pretty clear that he believes there are good affiliate marketers but if you lie, spam, sell scam products or mail your list 10 times a day you suck. I can't argue with that.

DJ Funkyslick (if that is your real name), I found this offensive, and I'd like to know where you got your numbers (that "probably 85% of affiliate marketing falls into this category")? It's one thing to rant, another to bash.
